Job Description

A wonderful position with a Family based in Foxrock, Dublin 18 are looking for an Experienced Nanny to care for their 3 children aged 7.5, 6, 2 years old and a new baby due in April 2021.  This position is Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm. Start date 23rd November 2020. This position is sole charge, both parents are working full time (working in separate offices in the garden due to COVID-19), in April 2021 Mother will be on Maternity Leave. The Nanny will still be employed full time as Mother will be busy with the newborn.

The Nanny will be responsible for School drop offs & collections and bringing the children to afterschool activities.  Driver is essential with own car.

The Nanny will be mainly responsible for following the children`s daily routine especially the youngest with afternoon sleeps etc.  It will be the Nanny responsibility to keep the common area e.g. kitchen & the children’s bedrooms clean and tidy and organized. Nursery duties regarding all children will be to include laundry & ironing. The Family has a housekeeper that comes once a week.

Nanny needs to provide and cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children. The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities for all children. Organizing weekly outings to the library and attending playdates and going to the park.

Fluent English is essential to assist with homework. The children are creative, very sociable loving and warm, they enjoy outdoor play. Occasionally Babysitting may be required, the Candidate will be given prior notice. Their current Nanny highly recommends this position, she is relocating.

The ideal Candidate must be trustworthy, caring, interactive, fun & energetic and will enjoy working with that family. The Candidate must have qualifications, a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
