JOB DESCRIPTION

Nanny required for a professional family based in Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, to care for 2 children, aged 4 and 1 years old. This position is sole charge, both parents work full time. Hours would be Monday to Friday from 12.30 / 1pm until 6 / 6.30pm (30 hours a week). Start date is April 2023.

The Nanny will be responsible for Montessori collections and bringing the older child to afterschool activities. Driver is not essential but would be a bonus.

Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedroom, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include feeding, changing & following the daily routine for both children.

The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example messy play, music, reading etc.

The family is home is close by UCD, which has great amenities for walks/ exercise. Dodder River is 5 mins away from the family home with a playground that is 15 min walking distance. There is great coffee shop, Spar and Pharmacy within 5 mins walk. Milltown LUAS stop is 15 mins away and number 11 bus stop is 5 mins away.

Good cooking skills are important to cook healthy & nutritious evening meal for the children.

Fluent English is essential. Occasional babysitting may be required.

The family is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic nanny to look after their busy family. The Family is looking for a warm, kind, responsible person who loves children and will always put them first.

The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & proactive with the children.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
