JOB DESCRIPTION

Family of 5 currently looking for an experienced Part Time Housekeeper in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 to help them in their busy home to work Monday to Friday for 4 / 5 hours (Option 1) or 10 hours a day for 3 days a week (Option 2) (family is flexible around the hours and days). The Candidate will occasionally collect the children from school and bring them to afterschool activities (3 children: ages 15, 13 and 10 years). Driver is not essential but would be a bonus with own car. Both parents are working full time. Start date is ASAP.

Duties to include washing, ironing, hoovering, dusting, making beds, keeping the family room and kitchen area clean and tidy. The candidate must be organized and do a weekly and monthly plan, for example cleaning the fridge or the oven.

Occasionally the candidate will do the shopping once a week for the family and running small errands (e.g. dry cleaners or post).

The candidate will need to have good cooking skills to provide the family with healthy and nutritious home cooked meals.

The Ideal Candidate must be pet friendly, discreet, fun, has relevant experience working in a private setting, has initiative, is comfortable around children and is not afraid to ask the family for instructions.

This position is for a candidate with 3 years’ previous experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid and will be Garda Vetted through Nanny Options.
