JOB DESCRIPTION

A lovely family of 5 based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, are looking for a Professional Live In / Live Out Housekeeper with high level of Housekeeping / Management skills. The position will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, with a very high degree of flexibility to cover weekends and occasional overnights if the parents are travelling for work. The position will be sole charge, both parents work full time. Start date is ASAP.

The Family would like someone who can manage their busy household, has a good attention to detail with extremely high standards, and will ensure everything runs smoothly. The general duties include making beds and organizing bedrooms, cleaning bathrooms, hoovering, dusting. Keeping the living room, dining room and kitchen area clean and tidy.

The Housekeeper will also be running small errands (dry cleaners/ post) and help with weekly grocery shopping.

It is essential to be able to prep the evening meal for the family.

Fluent English is essential. The Family are also open to a Candidate that speaks Russian or Lithuanian.

The Candidate must be pet friendly, as the family has 3 cats and 3 dogs. The Candidate must be happy to assist with dog walking and feeding.

The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic. The Candidate must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, a requirement of confidentiality and full flexibility is required with paid overtime, when necessary, balanced by quieter times when the family is absent.

Live In Accommodation is provided with the package (separate room in the family home).

The Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
