JOB DESCRIPTION
A Professional Family are looking for an Experienced Live In / Live Out Nanny for exciting position based in Straffan, Co. Kildare to care for 1 child, aged 6 months old. This position is Monday to Friday from 8 / 8.30am until 4.30 / 5pm. Both parents work full time. Start date is July 2023.
Nursery duties to include following the child’s daily routine. It will be the Nanny’s responsibility for keeping the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & child’s bedroom clean and tidy.
It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the child. Have a knowledge of introducing solids.
The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example arts and crafts, music, reading. Organizing weekly outings to the library, swimming, attend playgroups and going to the park.
The Family is looking for a Candidate that must be organized, independent, reliable, and fun, having a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.
The Candidate must be pet friendly as the family has 1 dog. Also, they are within walking distance to Straffan Village, they live on a farm, also close to public transport to Dublin.
The family could provide live in accommodation – 1 studio bed apartment.
The Candidate will be entitled to their 20 days holidays per annum, plus their 10 bank holidays per year and 3 paid sick days per annum (in 2023).
Fluent English is essential. Occasional Babysitting may be required.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ full-time experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
