JOB DESCRIPTION
Nanny required for exciting position based in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 to care for 4 children aged 8, 6, 3 and 9 months old. This position will be 50 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm. The family is open to a 4-day week Monday to Thursday. This position is sole charge both parents are working full time. Start Date is ASAP.
The Nanny will be responsible for School drop offs, collections and bringing the older children to afterschool activities such as swimming and karate. Driver is essential with own car or car can be provided. The school is 10 minutes’ walk from the family home.
Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include feeding, changing & following the daily routine for all children. The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example messy play, music, reading.
The Family are happy for a proactive Nanny who will organize weekly outings to the library, swimming, attend playgroups, going to the local park. Various parks and playgrounds are within 10 – 15 minutes’ walk from the family home.
It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children.
Fluent English is essential. A knowledge of Irish is necessary as the children attend an Irish school. Occasional Babysitting may be required.
The ideal Candidate must be organized, tidy, independent, reliable, kind, fun & energetic. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.
The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
