JOB DESCRIPTION
Professional Family are looking for a Qualified Nanny to care for 2 children aged 4 years old and a second baby due in November 2023 in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. This position is Monday – Friday, 50 hours a week. Start Date is ASAP. This position is to work alongside the mother while she will be on Maternity Leave for 6 – 9 months, then the position will go sole charge. Father works Full – Time.
The Nanny will be responsible for Montessori drop offs and collections for the older child and bring him to afterschool activities. Driver is essential with own car or car can be provided.
Nursery duties include feeding, changing & following the daily routine for both children. It will be the Nanny’s responsibility for keeping the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & children’s bedrooms clean and tidy.
The family are looking for a warm, positive, and happy Nanny who will arrange various interesting development and educational activities, for example reading, going to the library and outdoor activities for example messy play, music, reading, swimming and attend playgroups and going to the park.
It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children. Have a knowledge of introducing solids, enjoy the milestones of child development, help with weaning, and continue with a well-established sleep routine for the baby.
Fluent English is essential. Occasional babysitting may be required in the evenings & weekends.
The Candidate must have a genuine interest in children & become part of their family. The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic.
The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of two years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
