JOB DESCRIPTION

Exciting position available for a Nanny Share with 1 family based in Rathgar, Dublin 6. The Family are looking for a Professional Nanny to care for their 1 child, aged 1 years old. The position will be Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm (50 hours a week). Start Date is ASAP.

The Family would be looking for a family that lives close by and is of a similar age group. The Nanny will be required to work in both families’ home. This position is sole charge, parents work full-time.

Nursery duties include following the children`s daytime routine. It will be the Nanny’s responsibility to keep the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & the children`s bedroom clean and tidy and organized.

The Nanny needs to provide and cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children.

Occasional babysitting may be required. Fluent English is essential. Driver is essential with own car.

The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example messy play, music and reading. Organizing weekly outings to the library, swimming and attend playgroups and going to the park. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of both families.

The Candidate must be comfortable with pets, as the family has a 3-year-old Golden Retriever.

The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic. The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of two years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
