JOB DESCRIPTION

Nanny required for exciting position based in Milltown, Dublin 6 to care for 1 child, aged 6 months old. This position will be Monday to Friday from 11am until 7pm (40 hours a week), a minimum of 6 months contract, with a possibility of extension. This position is to work alongside the parents. Start Date is ASAP.

Nursery duties to include child’s laundry, keeping the child’s bedrooms, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include feeding, changing & following the daily routine for the child.

The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example messy play, music, reading.

The Family are happy for a proactive Nanny who will organize weekly outings to the library, swimming, attend playgroups, going to the local park. Local amenities are close by. The Milltown LUAS station is next to the family home. Driver is not essential but would be a bonus with own car.

It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the child. Have a knowledge of introducing solids.

Fluent English is essential. Occasional Babysitting may be required. The family travels within Ireland and Overseas (China).

The ideal Candidate must be organized, tidy, independent, reliable, kind, fun & energetic. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
