JOB DESCRIPTION
Professional Daily Nanny required for exciting position with a busy Family based in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow caring for 1 child, aged 4 months old. The family will be relocating to Dalkey/ Killiney area. The hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm (50 hours a week). Start date is November 2023. This position is sole charge, both parents work fulltime and travel occasionally for work to New York and San Francisco. The family have relocated back from New York.
It will be the Nanny’s responsibility to keep the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & the child’s bedroom clean and tidy and organized. Nursery duties regarding child will be to include laundry & ironing and following their daily routine. The Candidate will be expected to join baby classes during the mornings once or twice a week.
The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, indoors or outdoors or example messy play, music, reading etc. The Family are happy for a proactive Nanny who will organize weekly outings to the library, swimming, attend playgroups and going to the local park.
Good cooking skills are important to provide healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the child. Have a knowledge of introducing solids, enjoy the milestones of child development, help with weaning, and continue with a well-established sleep routine for the baby.
Fluent English is essential. Occasional Babysitting and overnights may be required when the parents are travelling for work.
The family will highly consider a bilingual Italian – English candidate, as the family would like the baby to speak both languages.
Occasional travel with the family will be required to New York and Italy, due to work or family reasons.
The ideal Candidate must be right fit, trustworthy, caring, interactive, fun & energetic and will enjoy working with that family.
The Candidate must have qualifications, a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
