JOB DESCRIPTION

Nanny required for exciting position based in Kill, Co. Kildare to care for 2 children aged 5 years and 2.5 years old. The 5-year-old has mild ASD. This position will be 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8am until 4pm. Family is flexible around the hours. This position is sole charge both parents are working full time. Start Date is July 2023.

The Nanny will be responsible for School and Montessori drop offs and collections for both children and bringing them to afterschool activities starting in September 2023. Driver is essential with own car.

Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include following the daily routine for both Children.

The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example messy play, music, reading.

The Family are happy for a proactive Nanny who will organize weekly outings to the library, swimming, attend playgroups and going to the local park.

It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children.

Fluent English is essential to assist with homework. Occasional Babysitting may be required.

The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
