JOB DESCRIPTION

Nanny required for exciting position based in Irishtown, Dublin 4 to care for 2 children aged 4 and 2.5 years old. This position will be Monday to Friday from 7.45am until 5.45pm. This position is sole charge, both parents are working full time. Start Date is July / August 2023.

The Nanny will be responsible for Creche and School drop offs, collections and bring the children to afterschool activities. Driver is not essential but would be a bonus.

Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include feeding, changing & following the daily routine for both Children.

The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example messy play, music, reading.

The Family are happy for a proactive Nanny who will organize weekly outings to the library, attend playgroups and going to the local park. There are two parks / playgrounds at Ringsend and Sandymount, close by the strand and Sandymount village and Ringsend library. There is a bus stop nearby and the DART station in Lansdowne Road.

It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children.

Fluent English is essential. Occasional Babysitting may be required.

The ideal Candidate must be full of life, organized, independent, loving, caring, reliable, fun & energetic. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
