JOB DESCRIPTION

Nanny required for exciting position based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow to care for 3 children, twins aged 4 and a 2.5-year-old. This position will be Monday to Friday, from 8am until 6pm (family is flexible in terms of starting and finishing times). This position is sole charge, both parents are working full time. Start Date is ASAP.

The Nanny will be responsible for Creche drop offs and collections for all children and bringing them to afterschool activities. The twins will start School in September 2023. Driver is essential with own car or car can be provided.

Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedroom, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy, feeding, changing & following the daily routine for all children.

The Nanny will be expected to attend various toddler groups and arrange various interesting development & educational activities, for example messy play, music, reading.

The Family are looking for a happy and proactive Nanny who will facilitate playdates, attend playgroups, and bring the children to the local park. The family lives within walking distance of Greystones village and Dart Station.

It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks, meals for the children. The 2.5 year old has some food allergies.

Fluent English is essential to assist with homework. Occasional Babysitting may be required.

The ideal candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
