JOB DESCRIPTION
Professional Daily Nanny required for exciting position based in Douglas, Co. Cork to care for 2 children aged 10 months and a second baby due in February 2024. This position will be Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. This position is to work alongside the mother while she will be on maternity leave, then the position will go sole charge. Father works full time. Start Date is November 2023.
Nursery duties include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms, kitchen area clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include feeding and changing. The candidate must have experience with young babies and be confident following their daily routine and come up with very stimulating activities during the week for both children.
Nanny needs to provide and cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children. Having a knowledge of introducing solids.
Fluent English is essential. Occasional babysitting may be required.
Driver is not essential but would be a bonus. The area is well served by public transport (bus routes).
The Candidate must have qualifications of a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
