JOB DESCRIPTION
Professional Family are looking for a Live Out Nanny for exciting position based in Clontarf, Dublin 3, caring for 1 child aged 5 months old. Experience with that age group is essential. Start date 4th of January 2024. This is a Full-Time position Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week. Family is flexible and can adjust the hours for the right candidate. The position will be sole charge, both parents are working full time.
The Nanny will be responsible for following the baby’s daily routine. Nursery duties include bottle feeding, changing and bath time.
It will be the nanny’s responsibility to keep the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & the child’s bedrooms clean and tidy and organized. Nursery duties will include child’s laundry & ironing.
Nanny needs to provide and cook healthy & nutritious snacks, lunches, and meals for the child. Have a knowledge of introducing solids, enjoy the milestones of child development, help with weaning, and continue with a well-established sleep routine for the baby.
The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development and educational activities, for example messy play, music and reading and outdoor activities. The family home is 10 mins away walk form the promenade in Clontarf and St Annes Park. A coffee shop is 4 mins walk at Clontarf GAA clubhouse. The house is less than 10 mins walk from Killester DART station and 130 bus stops, with multiple bus routes nearby.
Fluent English is essential. Occasionally Babysitting may be required, the Candidate will be given prior notice.
Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family. The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic.
The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
