JOB DESCRIPTION

Professional Daily Nanny required for exciting position based in Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, to care for 2 children aged 4.5 and 6 years old. This position will be Monday to Friday 40 to 50 hours a week (family require a high degree of flexibility around the hours especially when the children are on midterm breaks or are sick). This position is sole charge, father works full time. Start Date is ASAP.

The Nanny will be responsible for School drop offs, collections and after school activities for both children. Driver is essential with own car or family can provide a car.

Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms, kitchen / living room area clean and tidy. The Nanny is expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities for example music and reading, arranging playdates, bringing the children to the local park, playground etc.

Nanny needs to provide and cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children.

Fluent English is essential to assist with homework. Occasional babysitting may be required.

The LUAS is 10 mins’ walk, Dundrum Shopping Centre is nearby and great bus links close by.

This position will be particularly suited to an energetic, confident, creative person. There might be some occasional travel involved with the family.

The Candidate must have qualifications of a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
