JOB DESCRIPTION
Old Client of Nanny Options are looking for a Professional Nanny to working with their family in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Caring for 3 children aged 14, 11.5 and 8.5 years. This is a Full – Time position Monday – Thursday from 10.30 am – 6.30 pm, Friday from 8 am – 4 pm. This position is sole charge, both parents are working Full – Time. Start Date is ASAP.
The Nanny will be responsible for School collections and taking the Children to afterschool activities in the afternoon. The parents are managing the school drop offs in the morning. Driver is essential with own car (petrol or diesel allows will be given).
It will be the nanny’s responsibility to keep the common area e.g. kitchen / family room & the children’s bedrooms clean and tidy and organized, laundry & ironing is required. Keeping the children on a structured, balanced, and healthy schedule and following their daytime routine.
Nanny needs to provide and cook healthy & nutritious snacks, lunches, and meals for the children.
Nanny will also have to provide suitable activities for the children to help with their development, taking them to the park. The children love art and crafts, stories and enjoy playing outside in their garden.
During the summer the Family travels to Connemara for 6 weeks in July and August. The Family would prefer the Candidate to go with them. Separate accommodation is provided (1 bed apartment).
The Candidate must be very active and like being outdoors and enjoy water sports as the children enjoy these activities during the summer for example: canoeing.
It’s a busy family household, the candidate must be fun, energetic and outgoing. The Nanny must have a genuine interest in children & become part of their family.
Fluent English is essential. Occasional Babysitting mat be required.
