JOB DESCRIPTION
A Professional Family are looking for an Experienced Nanny for exciting position based in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan to care for 3 children aged 8, 4.5 years old and a third baby due in December 2022. This position is a five-day week Monday – Friday from 8.00 am – 6.00 pm (50 hours a week). There is a possibility to finish earlier on a Friday. The position is tow work alongside the mother while she will be on maternity leave for 6 – 9 months then the position will go sole charge. Father works Full-Time and travels to Dublin 2 days each week. Start date is September 2022.
The Nanny will be responsible for the School and Montessori drop offs & collections & bringing the children to afterschool activities. Driver is essential with own car.
Nursery duties to include feeding, changing & following the daily routine. It will be the Nanny’s responsibility for keeping the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & children’s bedrooms clean and tidy.
It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children. Having a knowledge of introducing solids.
Fluent English is essential to help with homework. Occasionally Babysitting and overnights may be required.
The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, example arts and crafts, music, reading. Organizing weekly outings to the library, swimming, attend playgroups and going to the park. The family are members of the local country club in the Slieve Russell Hotel so the Nanny can bring the children to swimming classes.
The Family is looking for a Candidate that must be organized, independent, reliable, and fun, having a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ full-time experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
