JOB DESCRIPTION

Nanny required for exciting position based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath to care for 3 children aged 8, 5 and 1.5 years old. This position will be Monday from 7.30am – 5.30pm, Tuesday from 7.30am – 5.30pm, Thursday from 7.30am – 7pm and Friday from 7.30am – 4.30pm (41.5 hours a week). Additional hours could be given on a Wednesday or Saturday. This position is sole charge both parents are working full time. Start Date is ASAP.

The Nanny will be responsible for school collections and bringing the children to afterschool activities. Driver is essential with own car. Schools are 3km away. No public transport nearby.

Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms, kitchen & living room area clean and tidy, feeding, changing & following the daily routine for all Children.

The Nanny will be expected to attend various groups and arrange interesting development & educational activities. Family home is beside Ashbourne / Ratoath area called ‘Curragha beside Tayto Park’. Tayto Park is 1km away.

It is essential to be able to cook healthy & nutritious snacks, meals, and lunch boxes for the children.

Fluent English is essential to help with homework. Occasional Babysitting may be required.

The ideal candidate must be pet friendly, organized, independent, reliable, fun & energetic. Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
