JOB DESCRIPTION

Afternoon Nanny required for a professional family based in Sandymount, Dublin 4, to care for their 2 children aged 14.5 & 9.5 years. This position is Option 1 Monday to Friday from 3pm until 7/7.30pm. Option 2 Monday to Friday from 1pm until 7pm (the candidate would have to do housekeeping duties). More full-time hours could be provided when the children are on school holidays if the candidate is open to that.  Start Date is ASAP. This may suit a Montessori teacher or someone that has a teaching background. This position is sole charge, both parents working full time.

It will be the Nanny’s responsibility for school collections, bringing the children to & from afternoon activities. Driver is essential with own car or car can be provided, petrol or diesel allowance will be given.

The Nanny will be responsible in keeping the kitchen / family room clean & tidy.

Fluent English is essential for assisting with homework. Occasional Babysitting may be required.

The Nanny will be responsible for preparing an afternoon snack and preparing the evening meal for the children.

The family is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic Nanny to look after their busy family.

The ideal Candidate must be organized, independent, reliable, fun & proactive with the children to arrange playdates and daily outings for them. This family is known to the Agency and highly recommends this lovely position.

The Candidate must have qualifications a minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
